What is the PTCAS Prerequisite GPA?
The Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) calculates both an Overall Cumulative GPA and a Prerequisite GPA. DPT admissions committees focus heavily on prerequisite courses—such as Human Anatomy & Physiology, General Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Statistics—to gauge an applicant's readiness for doctoral-level physical therapy education.
